"We needed to stay on the Cape for one night to pick up our car from a repair shop. The Hyannis Inn was centrally located and affordable. We found the facility clean and convenient - exactly what we needed for a one-night stay. It suited our needs well and we found the surrounding area nice for an evening stroll, dinner, drinks, and brunch the next morning. If the need arises, we will stay here again."

Hyannis Plaza Hotel
2.5 star property
6.8 out of 10, (637)
"Last minute one night stay. So cheapest option. Check in staff nice. Definitely not ‘luxury hotel’. Large basic room and bathroom. One room had a wobbly toilet - told girl at checkout in morning and she said she already knew. Other room had a big dent in the wall where someone had kicked it. No breakfast only coffee and green tea at a not very clean counter. Large garbage can overflowing at 8am!!! Just lacked warmth and attention to detail overall. Fantastic Brazilian/Italian restaurant...

"This was our first time staying at the Mansion House Inn and Spa but it will not be our last. We come to MV annually in the fall, rent a home for 7 days, and then like to stay a few extra days at various hotels on the island. We've stayed at some lovely hotels in Edgartown and Oak Bluffs but this was our first time in Vineyard Heaven and the Mansion House Inn was delightful. The rooms were spotless and spacious and we had a balcony overlooking the harbor. The staff was very welcoming,...

"When researching properties, this one had mixed reviews. Google reviews were very low which made me nervous. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The grounds were beautiful, the pool and the room were clean and it was quiet. We didn't have time to check out the private beach but the views were great. You are required to strip the bedding and take out the trash but we were ok with that. We will definitely stay here again! "

" Great property, however, no elevators so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for the first floor. Also, the doors on the main building do not have locks on them. After I complained about the security of guests with open doors, the front desk girl acted indifferent and told me other guests have complained too. When I said why don’t you tell the manager, she shrugged. A real dummy. I told her I was going to put something on social media and it didn’t seem to faze her. I hope the Faraway...
